Hasibat Information Technologies signs agreement with Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC)
June 18, 2005 - Kuwait : Hasibat Information Technologies (HIT) has signed an agreement with KUWAIT AIRWAYS (KAC) on the 18th June 2005, for Outsourcing IT Infrastructure Project
The agreement was reached following an extensive and rigorous process and the feedback of the central tendering committee (CTC) and other Kuwaiti government bodies.
The contract signing took place at the Ballroom - Radisson SAS hotel in Kuwait, where a team of directors and top management from Hasibat welcomed an executive management team from Kuwait Airways, led by Sheikh Talal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chairman & Managing Director of Kuwait Airways Corporation.
Under the contract, Hasibat will outsource the complete IT Infrastructure for Kuwait Airways for a period of five (5) years. The contract will further enhance the strategic partnership between Hasibat and Kuwait Airways Corporation; a Kuwaiti government entity.
Mr. Salem Al-Ghadhoori, General Manager of Hasibat Information Technologies, said after the signing ceremony: "The signing of this contract is an important milestone in the divestiture of Hasibat projects in the government and private sector of Kuwait.
